Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is one of the largest medical schools in Iran. Located in Tehran, it was established in 1974 as The Imperial Medical Center and was designed by William Perera and Associates.

The school is state-run and trains 7,000 students in its current field of regenerative medicine.
Its students are ranked in the top 1% of Iran's students in nationally ranked university entrance exams.

Iran Medical Sciences and Health Services Admission Process

To enrol in the MBBS program at Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, students must first complete the following steps:

Step 1. Check eligibility for the MBBS course at Iranian University by submitting the required documents of Class 10th and 12th, NEET Certificates.

Step 2. Once the student receives the eligibility letter, fill out the application form for the selected university.

Step 3. Submit all required documents.

Step 4. Pay the registration and visa fee directly to the university account.

Step 5. Students have to undergo an online interview with the medical faculty.

Step 6. Visa approval takes 45 to 60 days, and the student visa process in Iran is very transparent. Students can know their application status.

Step 7. Submit all required documents to the Iranian Embassy in India to obtain a Single Entry Visa
