Connectivity Standards
Kindles primarily connect to Wi-Fi networks using Wi-Fi standards. Older Kindle models may not support the latest Wi-Fi standards, which can cause connectivity issues. Newer standards provide faster and more stable connections. The following are common Wi-Fi standards and the generations of Kindles that support them:
802.11b/g/n: This standard is supported by most Kindle models, but it might struggle with modern, high-speed networks. You may experience slower connections and occasional dropouts.
802.11ac: This standard is found on newer Kindle models, providing faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections.
